Purple Item
I read purple items are rare.
I salvage quite a bit of the charr armor drops, but noticed a purple one dropped and I kept it. Should I use expert salvage on this or something? Why did a purple charr armor drop when they usually are just salvage pieces. Later |

Sometimes if you use expert salvage kit you can get runes out of purples and orange Items that you may be able to apply to your own armor.

Before you do anything though... make sure you ID it first. Just a word to the wise. When I was new the light didn't turn on inside for a while so thats just a precautionary for everyone.

I have a question that kind of pertains to this topic... when it comes to weapons, do all of the blue/purple/yellow ones have a chance of yielding a rare item using an expert salvage kit such as a grip or bow string, or do they have to have certain properties on them such as "Enchantments last 10% longer"? I've noticed that when I ID certain items, I 'unlock' different items as well, so I know that at least those do, but what about the stuff that's blue that has something basic like "10% more damage when health is below 50%" and doesn't 'unlock' anything?
Is there maybe a thread with this information already in it that I can check out? I've been looking around but havent quite found anything that answers the full extent of my questions. Thanks |
